Inca Trail Journey
Following the Path of Amazon Priestess

The Path of the Amazon Priestess presents a rare opportunity to experience the magic and mystery of Machu Picchu and use the energy of the Incas and Amazons to take your journey of becoming a Goddess Warrior to the next level. It is the path of initiation which reveals the mysteries of the high priestess' ancient knowledge. The Inca Trail is a place where answers are found and spiritual gifts are awakened. Along the Inca Trail there are 7 ancient temples. Each temple carries its own medicine and is the spiritual keeper of many gifts. You will be challenged and tested on all levels according to what personal lessons you need to learn to bring forth your power and purpose. It will be an unforgettable transformation and purification.

Due to being a private and exclusive event, this trip is on a first-come, first-serve basis and can only accommodate 20 women. Last year, this trip sold out in three weeks. Please do not hesitate if your spirit is calling.

Our 2 week journey will start off in Lima for a day and then off to the city of Cusco, a historic site in Peru. We will then head towards Pizac, Sacred Valley - a quaint town of villagers - and to Machu Picchu where we will prepare for our 4 night and 5 day Inca Trail hike. We will start our journey with a ceremony led by Quero shamans to purify ourselves for our quest. While hiking the Inca Trail (which starts off at 15,000 feet elevation), we will be visiting 7 ancient temples - all of which will challenge, treat and heal the 7 major chakras. Although the Incas did not practice the ancient ways of the chakras, the Incas were masters at healing themselves through their Ancient Mother, Pachamama, also known as Mother Earth. We will perform a ceremony at each sacred temple to enable us go deeper into our own personal healing and to empower and unleash the Priestess Goddess Warrior within. On our last day of hiking the Inca trail, we will arrive in Machu Picchu to rest, shop, soak in hot tubs and eat fabulous food for 3 days as well as climb the highest peak of Machu Picchu, Wayna Picchu. After ascending to our true potential and reaching the top of our journey, we will rejoice in a closing ceremony. At the completion of our quest, we will return to Cusco and Lima and then head home with a new attitude and outlook towards life.

The 7 ancient temples that we will visit on the Inca Trail:
Patallacta
Runkurakay
Sayacmarca
Phuyupatamarca
Wiñaywayna
Machu Picchu
Wayna Picchu
  root chakra
sexual chakra
solar plexus
heart
throat
third eye
crown

We will be climbing to the peak of our potential, power and purpose. This journey will definitely include lots of laughter, tears and sweat. Time to Goddess Up!

Because this will be a rigorous trip, it is limited to women who have already unleashed the Goddess within by attending Boot Camp for Goddesses® Levels 1and/or 2 or Goddess Yoga Teacher Training.

This journey will be guided by Sierra, Sierra’s own teacher and shaman Freddy Arevalo and also shaman Carlos Fernandez BacaTupayachi. We will visit many spots and engage in numerous ceremonies that most Machu Picchu trips do not include.

The history/herstory of the Amazon woman is today still a mystery as it should be. The Amazon woman is the magical essence of God / Goddess. There are many definitions around the world to describe the Amazon women. They were fierce women warriors who lived in the high mountains of Machu Picchu and were well protected by their people, the Incas.

The word "Amazon" is Greek. The phrase "mazos" means breast, meaning woman without a breast. The myth is that the Amazon women cut off one breast in order to shoot the bow and arrow. In Armenia, Amazon means moon-women; in Persia, Amazon means warrior; in Libya, it means free or noble person. All of these definitions describe the most fierce tribe of warriors in history.

Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu was not found until 1911. This whole civilization that was hidden in the Andes is one of life’s mysteries and is now one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Archaeologists found 160 women skeletons and none of them were men.

There is no connection with Greek stories about the Amazon warrior woman or the American Indian woman. The name of the Amazon was given by the Spaniard people who arrived in the middle ages to explore the rainforest for the Gold City they had heard about.

The Gold City was never found but when they arrived into the lower land of the rainforest, they met a gigantic river and were attacked by a tribe of warrior women. The Spaniards met the ancient Amazon warriors instead of gold and named this big river the Amazon River.

Sierra's First Journey to Machu Picchu
My own journey to Peru was a profound awakening in my growth spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. It was an amazing trip that fed me the spiritual food that I was craving - the connection to our ancestors and sisters, the Amazon Women and the Higher Priestess within me.

As this magical place speaks to you, the spirits come alive and answers are found. As Freddy the medicine man would say "Keep your wings in." You just want to fly, jump off the cliff and soar like the condor. You feel so alive, free and detached from the mundane busy world. It is as if you died and came back. It is an experience you will never forget and a story to tell your grandchildren to keep the Amazon Goddess Warrior alive in lore and legend.

This journey is not a workshop or retreat but a challenge and opportunity to grow, learn, love and evolve at your own pace. You have all the tools and knowledge to move forward. It is time to put them to the test.
