INCA TRAIL JOURNEY

1st  Day: Leaving the States

Arriving to Lima.Transportation from the Lima airport to EL CONDADO HOTEL, Miraflores, Lima.

2nd Day: Lima

Leaving from the Lima hotel to Airport at 11.30AM. Flying from Lima to Cusco at 2.00PM (LAN PERU Airlines****). Cusco Airport to Royal Inca II. Free day.

3rd Day: Cusco Hotel Royal Inca I

Spiritual pilgrimage by ancient Inca temples (Wakas) that Indigenous people still keep their religious cults. This visiting will take 7 hours, it will start in the temples of  Korikancha, Tambomachay, Puka-Pukara, Qenqo, Sacsaywaman, Cusco.

Koricancha(Temple of the Father Sun) according the Indian chronicler from the middle age Pachakuti Salkamayhua Santa Cruz this building was the main temple whose altar describe all Inca cosmology as example Moon(Mamaquilla), the stars(Chaskas), the lightning(Illapa), the rainbow. All the mystery of this ancient religious cult remain still alive into their walls.

Tambomachay(Cave of resting), we start the ceremonies over here, it is the best place to make the connection with ancient memory of the keeper of the Andean wisdom. 

Puka-Pukara, It is temple to honor the red world or foundation of the human life.

Q’enqo is the temple to honor the fertility of life. We will do three rituals in order to make a cosmic alignment. The first one is work with Kay Pacha, the ritual will help us become aware of this world. The second part is into Uk’u Pacha, the underground temple, the ritual is to make connection with the inner world of the Earth or female polarity of the world, bring the geomagnetic and telluric power that comes from the heart Earth planet. Finally, the Hanan Pacha ritual that is to make connection with the cosmos, it is the male polarity of the world. The ceremonies are rituals and teaching at same time.

Saqsaywaman(Hawk head). It is very impressive stone building complex. Our guide, Carlos will share a lecture related a special researching about this site, it is a parallel description about the Poseidon Island, the Atlantis capital city and the Muyurmarka (rounded city) temple inside of Saqsaywaman. Q’ero Shaman will run a Pachamama offering ceremony. The Q’ero is an Inca community of priests and priestesses that just few years ago started to share with western world. 


4th Day: Cusco Hotel Royal Inca Pisak.

Pilgrimage by the Inca sacred valley.

We’ll start at Chinchero (Agriculture Inca community). This is Indian village with very colorful Andean landscape and land of the best potatoes, over here will visit the different Waka (temples) and agriculture terraces, the Andean-Catholic temples to see the cultural and religious syncretism present in all forms of art and architecture patterns.

The next trip is to Moray temple. This temple is a circular construction into a meteorite impact crater, it is a place where the Q’ero shamans like to work.

Finally, we will arrive to Pisak(Fire temple) and visiting the most important altar of this temple like the Inti Watana(stone of the Sun) and the Chakana(Southern Cruz constellation). Over here will do a meditation in order to keep the energy of the mountain. Pisak is also a original Inca village of the most famous art craft market. That day will be closed with an offering ritual led by Q’ero shaman. 

6th Day March 1st : Ollantaytambo, beginning of the Inca Trail. 1st camping at Chilca.

Ollantaytambo (Wind temple) is other ancient temple very important in this spiritual pilgrimage. We’ll stop  here to visit the main altars to do a meditation and praying.and also a special ceremony in the water fountain (Challa). After that we move to elder Vidal’s house to a Inipi sweatlodge ceremony. The next step is the beginning of the Inca trail.  We‘ll cross over the Willkamayu (Holy river) and walk until we get to Chilca camping. We will do our first spiritual work on the Inca trail: Patallacta temple(people from high altitude), the purpose of the ceremony is two things: Consecrate this new beginning and doing an alignment of the first chakra of human people. 

7th day :   2nd day of Inca trail: camping

We start the walking early every morning in order to get the next camping set up by the current administration of the Inca trail.  This day is to honor the Q’enti animal (humming bird), its means is the beginner, the apprenticeship way, it ’s place that we will reach and take lunch. The next step is to reach Wayllabamba around 4.00PM where the next camping site is located for dinner and resting. 

8th Day: 3rd day of the Inca trail: Camping

The walking starts very early morning after  breakfast. The goal this day is to reach the top of this mountain pass: the Abra de Warmiwañusca (4,050mts /13,280 ft ). The shamans will do a special and magical ritual: honoring the warrior born. Warmiwañusca is name the of the Apu(spirit of the mountain), part of the ritual is building a stone pyramid (Apacheta). We’ll continue by Inca trail until Pacaymayu where the next camping site is located for dinner and resting..  

9th Day: 4th day of the Inca trail: Camping

Breakfast at early morning and walking until Runkurakay (cosmic egg temple).

In this second temple of the Inca trail will do a ceremony Wind spirits. Continue walking until get the third temple of Sallaqmarca (Hard land to live). Ceremony and lunch time at this temple. We re-start the walking until  Phuyupatamarca (cloud temple). It is the forth temple of the Inca trail, one of best and most beautiful places of the all Inca buildings, we’ll camp over here and will have  the most powerful and magical ceremonies of this spiritual pilgrimage. We’ll  also have a second water ceremony(Challa,offering to Mamaq’ocha (lagoons) and Chakana (Southern cross constellation).

10th Day : 5th day of the Inca trail. Inti Inn Hotel, Aguas Calientes, MP.

It is the last day of Inca trail. We’ll walk from Phuyuputamarca to Machu Pichu, but will stop first at Winaywana (Garden of the Eternal Youth), the 5th temple. We’ll do a ritual to keep the power of this beautiful land. We continue walking going by Inti Pata (garden of the sun) to get Inti Punku (Sun door). Afterward; it comes the entering to Machu Picchu( The elder one Mountain), later we will come to Aguas Calientes village to rest this night at Inti Inn hotel. 

11th Day: Full day work. Inti Inn Hotel.

This long and last journey stars at Machu Picchu mountain. It’s the sixth temple of the Inca trail. The shamans will run a ceremony to honor the spirit of this powerful mountain and nurturing the human spirit. We’ll do a meditation and energy work also. A specialist guide will take us p through the ancient altar in order to keep the energy and memory of this planet Earth chakra. This journey ends at Waynapicchu, the seventh temple with a special ceremony that the shamans will lead to bless all the people. We come down again to Aguas Calientes.

12th Day: Free day at Machupicchu. Inti Inn Hotel.

It’s free day, everybody can go up to Macchu PicChu temple again to walk, relax, take more pictures and enjoy of the mountain energy or shop, hot springs and relax. 

13th Day: Free day. Royal Inca II Hotel, Cusco.

Free day at Aguas Calientes village. Hot springs and shopping. Train from Machupicchu to Cusco at 3.00 PM. Night at Royal Inca II Hotel, Cusco.

14th Day: Peru-USA flight

11.00AM: Flying from Cusco to Lima. 11.00PM: Flying from Lima to USA.
